    hey I got waitlisted 4 mbbs at manipal and my waitlist no: is 204. Do I have any chances of getting mbbs?

    i guess....ur rank must b between 1900-2000..........one shud get manipal wid dat rank.....bt dis year's scenario was a disaster!.....i mean last year's final cutoff was around manipal-2200 n mangalore-2400

    @sankalp...yepp..ma rank is 1935..n rt now..m tensed seeing d discussions here..as many of the students r fed up of the waitlist status not being updated...dey hav made many calls @ manipa..n d officials out dere r juss not givin d right answers..dey say dat some internal upgradation is goin on..plus watever happened wid MCI...dat has led 2 late state counsellings.

    my waitlist no. is 24......even i haven't got admission yet.....u can say nuthin rite now.....minimum no. of cancelations may b around 70.....dey r sayin dey wil update on 22 july(which u can't b sure of)

    just put a 0 in b/w 2 n 4...dats ma waitlist no...so it means i dont hav ny chances???? bt comedk's counselling is still awaited..isn't it?

    hi all,ve got admission in kmc mangalore.......ve asked fr a campus transfer to manipal,my rank is 1322...........ne1 knows wat my chances are.............m really tensed cos i havent booked my hostel room hopin i get tranferred.........sme1 pls help

    @srivats -yeah u've got 90% chances of gettin manipal campus....bt most probably u'll get d transfer only after 1 month from d commencement of classes...bydway y r u preferrin manipal to mangalore?

    @prettyprinks-d reason is jez dat d trend is changin......craze 4 gettin into kmc is shootin up despite of its astronomical fees!!.....d last year cutoffs in d first counsellin were around 1650 n 1850(um not sure abt dis,i've jez heard it sumwhere)....n dis year as u kno it is 903 n 1345...so u can clearly make out d drastic change in scenario

    tanx sankalpgr8 fr ur timely response.......4m wat i ve read in the papers manipal is one of d top ranked med coleges in india.........m a bit ambitious hence the choice.........also got many friends studyin top colleges(engg)lik iits wid good branches.................so wanted to get into 1 of the top colleges myself

    @srivats-manipal n mangalore r jez campuses of d same college KMC....so if u r in mangalore campus u'r still in one of d top 10 medical coll. of india....n also d mangalore campus has many advantages over manipal campus-like for one it has 4 hospitals associated wid it out of which 2 are government while manipal only has 1 hospital ass. wid it(private) n besides u'r gonna have city life in mangalore.....as far as d campus is considered obviously manipal campus luks gr8(bt den one soon gets bored of it)....ppl say preferrin mangalore campus is more of a practical choice

    i have gt a rank of 1026.....i am still hoping dat i get kmc manipal.....pls help i dnt want to get into the fizzle of changing hostels travelling for 90 mins.....

    @sankalp...bt comedk's counselling is still pending...kmc manipal closed @ 965 n now d figure is around 995 without any upgradation of waitlist...watz dat?? n d staff dere says dat some internal upgradation is goin on...jesus..!! well do they anyhow convert nri seats n govt seats @ a later stage??
